We offer something most production crews do not... years of newsroom experience. Host Joel Connable is an Emmy Award winning reporter and anchor with more than 13 years of on air experience. Executive Producer Ted Goldenberg has produced programming as well as travel, entertainment and news features for FOX, NBC and EXTRA.

Travel TV News - Joel ConnableJoel Connable - Travel Journalist

Joel Connable is an Emmy Award winning reporter and news anchor who has worked in Los Angeles, Miami and New York for the past 13 years. He has won numerous awards from the Los Angeles Press Club, the Associated Press and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his news reporting and delivery of the news on television. Joel Connable started his broadcasting career in Columbia, South Carolina, where he anchored the weekend newscasts and worked as a consumer reporter during the week. He started the "Restaurant Report Card," a segment that showed viewers some of the best and worst health inspection scores for restaurants in South Carolina. It became one of the highest rated segments on television during its four year run. While in South Carolina, Joel was awarded a commendation from the State of South Carolina for his consumer reporting and for his drive to help the citizens of the Palmetto State. Joel then worked in Los Angeles, where he was a general assignment reporter for CBS and KCAL9. After four years working on air in Los Angeles, Joel took a job as an investigative reporter and anchor with NBC in Miami. During his time in Miami, Joel was promoted to main anchor and also anchored newscasts on MSNBC in New York. In Miami, Joel created the Departure Lounge. It was the only travel segment on South Florida television where viewers could see stories about great hotels, cruise ships and destinations and also see a great deal to get there. Before Joel worked in television, he spent four years as a New York paramedic, working for the Nassau County Police Department on Long Island. Joel is also on the Board of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, where he helps to raise money for a cure to diabetes.

Ted Goldenberg is an award winning producer who has more than 14 years of experience producing television news. His career has taken him from the beaches of South Florida, where he produced the hit entertainment program, "Deco Drive," that aired on FOX, to the West Coast of the United States, where he produced for EXTRA in Los Angeles. He has also produced travel segments for NBC in Miami, including the popular news franchise "The Departure Lounge".
